Our Bar has been fully refurbished and is a relaxing & comfortable place to be. We are proud to serve artisan ales from 2 local breweries, each with a great heritage of which they are fiercely proud.
Arkell's brewery was established in Swindon in 1843 to keep the great men who built the world famous Great Western Railway watered.
The beer is still brewed in much the same way as it was when John Arkell first made it in 1843 and the brewery buildings seem untouched by the passing years
180 years later, the brewery is still going strong today.
We also feature the occasional guest ale from the Donnington brewery, based in the heart of the Cotswolds at Stow on the Wold.
Alongside our artisan ales, we serve a great selection of lagers, ciders and stouts as well as an array of quality wines, spirits and soft drinks. And we are proud to say that in April 2022 we achieved a 100% rating from Cask Marque to confirm the quality and standard of our beers - an accolade which we have retained each year since.
We serve great coffee all day every day too - not to mention our indulgent cakes and sweet treats.
